We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Community Engagement and Development at DiverseJobsMatter. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow our community engagement strategy, driving membership growth and fostering a strong sense of belonging among our members and students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Community Engagement Strategies: Spearhead innovative community engagement initiatives to shape the future of our organisation and drive membership growth.
- Create Unforgettable Experiences: Design and deliver programmes and experiences that bring our vibrant community together, promoting collaboration, advocacy, and brand reach.
- Build and Nurture Thriving Online Communities: Cultivate a network of passionate ambassadors who champion our brand and create go-to hubs for knowledge sharing.
- Establish and Grow Member and Student Ambassador Programmes: Champion the value of our community and strategically align community engagement efforts to maximise their impact across the organisation.
- Develop Valuable Partnerships: Build and manage commercial partnerships to expand our reach and influence in the accounting world.
- Reimagine and Revitalise Our Branch Network: Directly influence our programmes and services by amplifying member and student voices.
- Extensive Knowledge of Professional Membership Organisations: Proven experience in community management and development, with a strong understanding of community management theory and practice.
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead across teams and manage professional member networks and communities.
- Strategic and Creative Thinking: Ability to oversee and deliver large-scale, high-impact brand-building events and drive business growth through innovative community engagement strategies.
- Customer Focus and Data Analysis Capabilities: Strong customer focus, with excellent data analysis and visualisation capabilities to inform community engagement decisions.
- Hybrid Working: 1-2 days per week in our London office, with opportunities for further flexible working.
