About the Role

The University of London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Alumni Engagement and Community Development efforts. As the Head of Alumni Engagement and Community Development, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive experience for our global alumni community, comprising over 500,000 individuals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance alumni engagement and community development, aligning with the University's mission and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the University to identify opportunities for alumni involvement and support the University's fundraising priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and partners, to promote the University's brand and reputation.
  • Design and deliver programs, events, and communications to engage alumni and foster a sense of community.
  • Work closely with the Development Office to ensure alignment with fundraising goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in alumni engagement, community development, or a related field, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including alumni, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
