Head of Community Engagement

The Diocese of London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our community engagement efforts. As the Head of Community Experience, you will play a critical role in breaking down barriers and promoting true race equality within our diocesan structures, policies, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to address mental, cultural, and institutional barriers that hinder true race equality.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Bishop on Racial Justice and other stakeholders to deliver and implement strategic priorities.
- Work with the Diocese of London's leadership to create and sustain a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects our context and wider community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to promote the Diocese's commitment to race equality and inclusion.
- Proven experience in community engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies to address complex social issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
