As an Administrative Assistant - Accounts and Finance with Pertemps, you will play a key role in supporting the accounts department. This dynamic position involves processing supplier invoices, matching purchase invoices to purchase orders, and assisting with general accounting administration. You will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction while providing a professional service that utilises the latest technology and products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Support in recording financial transactions in Xero and SIMPRO
  • Assist in maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts
  • Aid in processing payroll, employee expense claims, and engineer time sheets
  • Handle general accounting administration
  • Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have basic Outlook skills, basic Excel knowledge, and previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant/Administration role. A basic knowledge of Xero would be beneficial but not essential. Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature are also required.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £24,000-£26,000 per year, based on national averages and location. Please note that salaries may vary depending on individual circumstances.
