Ward Administrator Position

About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ward Administrator to provide administrative support to our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient information, managing the ward diary, and providing day-to-day administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical administration and support services as required, including updating patient information and answering telephone calls.
- Manage the ward diary and ensure that all requests for information are dealt with promptly.
- Answer the ward phones and manage all enquiries efficiently and effectively.
- Add all admissions to the electronic patient records system on the day of admission.
- Prepare new patient folders and ensure that all relevant documentation is included.
- Perform general administration duties such as photocopying, filing, and scanning.
- Cover the main reception duties as required.
- Provide efficient support to the ward team on a weekly basis.
- Participate in the implementation of new systems and processes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to respond to changes in service and adapt to new situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
About the Team
You will be working at Brighton & Hove Clinic, providing CAMHS Tier 4 services for young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders and other mental health conditions. Our team combines NICE guidelines recommended therapies to create bespoke programmes that support each person's physical, medical, and mental health needs.
