Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in West South Somerset. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic community hospital and surrounding community setting.

Main Duties
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services within the rehabilitation department.
  • Participate in the development of the rehabilitation service in the community and within the community hospital bedded environments.
  • Offer advice on rehabilitation management to patients, families, carers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree/diploma level education leading to registration by the Health Professions Council (UK) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Evidence of continued professional development maintained in a portfolio, including attendance at relevant postgraduate courses.
  • Proven postgraduate experience with extensive clinical experience relevant to the post.
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Salary Information

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
