Community Rehabilitation Position

The West South Somerset Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide person-centred rehabilitation services to patients within the community setting. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide occupational therapy services to patients with complex needs, focusing on cognitive, environmental, and functional assessments

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, driving best practices within the department and beyond
* Develop and maintain relationships with local agencies, voluntary sector organizations, and community groups to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a degree or diploma in occupational therapy, registered with the Health Professions Council (UK). Postgraduate experience, particularly in community settings, is highly desirable. You should also possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
