Manufacturing Specialist Opportunity
Hunter Selection is recruiting a Manufacturing Specialist for a prestigious manufacturer in the Somerset area.
This is a permanent position with a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, offering a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, and health care cash plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining PFMEA worksheets
- Involved in the R&D of new processes across the site
- Preparing projects considering budgets to develop and introduce new processes
- Working closely with suppliers
- Reducing manufacturing cost and non-value-added waste
- Leading CAPEX projects
Requirements:
- 8D, FMEA, OEE, Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree
- Ability to understand Key Process Control Measures such as Cp and Cpk
- Knowledge and experience of CAD and MS Office
- Apprenticeship trained - desirable
