Job Overview:
A Senior Estimator - Civil Engineering position has become available at our client, a leading player in the industry. The successful candidate will oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control. This is a challenging yet rewarding role for an experienced professional looking to drive cost efficiency and maintain exceptional standards in high-profile infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading project budget management, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Developing and providing detailed valuations, cost estimates, and financial reports.
  • Managing procurement processes and establishing strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintaining project progress on-site, ensuring compliance with contracts and quality standards.
  • Administering contracts, including handling variations and preparing final accounts.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Estimator - Civil Engineering in similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT).
  • Proficiency in cost management tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (RICS/ICES accreditation is advantageous).
