Job Summary:

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Service Manager to lead our residential service in Chard/Somerset. As a Senior Service Delivery Leader, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a care management role, with a proven track record of delivering person-centred support plans, conducting care needs assessments, and leading teams to achieve positive outcomes.

You will work closely with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure that individuals gain more independence in their daily lives. Your strong leadership skills and passion for the care sector will enable you to motivate and develop your team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the service(s), including developing and implementing person-centred support plans
  • Conduct care needs assessments and recruit new colleagues
  • Lead teams to achieve positive outcomes and deliver exceptional care
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families
  • Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualificationExperience working with individuals with autism and complex mental health needsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and as part of a team
