Adult Care Support Professional

At Outcomes First Group, we're seeking a dedicated Adult Care Support Professional to join our team in Somerset. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

We're looking for someone with a passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs. As an Adult Care Support Professional, you'll be responsible for supervising care staff, taking charge of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, and supporting residents in their daily lives.

You'll have a minimum of Level 2 NVQ Health and Social Care (Adults) and a Full UK Driving Licence. You'll also be able to administer medication in accordance with Company and Regulatory Body policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising care staff and taking charge of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Supporting and supervising residents in the implementation of their individual programmes of life skills, key skills, and independence skills
  • Administering medication in accordance with Company and Regulatory Body policies and procedures
  • Leading, supervising, and motivating the care team within the home
