We are seeking an experienced Contract Operations Manager to lead and manage our Lending Operations team. The successful candidate will have a background in lending operations and be able to provide vision and strategy for the ongoing development of Business Banking lending and technical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for the Lending Operations team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage the Lending Operations team, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Manage continuous process improvement to increase effectiveness and reliability across both the Lending Operations team and the wider business.
  • Administer the business lending and banking system.
  • Ensure quality of work is maintained to the highest standards and the team is working to best practice and adopting recognised risk management procedures.
  • Monitor performance against objectives and communicate progress.
  • Motivate team members through delegation of challenging tasks, recognising individual contribution, giving feedback and welcoming suggestions from team members.

Requirements:

  • Extensive and relevant experience of working in loan/credit administration/lending operations function of a reputable bank or financial institution.
  • Knowledge of credit risk principles and practices.
  • Proven experience of previously successfully managing a team within banking or finance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A business-related qualification and/or in-house training on loan/credit administration is desirable.
