About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiotherapy Specialist Practitioner Radiographer to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our radiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

As a Senior Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for leading a team of radiographers and supporting the delivery of radiotherapy treatment to patients with cancer. Your expertise and experience will be essential in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiotherapy equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of radiographers in the delivery of radiotherapy treatment

  • Support the development of our radiotherapy services and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Significant post-graduate experience in radiotherapy
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
