We are an international recruitment agency based in the Tredegar area, seeking a highly skilled Key Account Sales Executive to join our team.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for securing commercial objectives with key customers, managing and developing a portfolio of key account customers, and conducting negotiations to renew existing contracts and develop new agreements.

Activities & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing daily commercial activities, prospecting, and recruiting new customers to achieve assigned budget objectives;
  • Identifying new opportunities with existing products and new products to drive continuous growth of the turnover;
  • Overseeing negotiations on product prices and related contracts and agreements to ensure profitability in line with objectives;
  • Exploring new opportunities within the portfolio of existing products and promoting new technologies available;
  • Negotiating performance plans;
  • Managing the requests for quotes (RFQ) process and leading the definition of prices;
  • Analyzing market and competition data;
  • Supporting sales analysis and 3-month forecast against budget, and doing so on a monthly basis in a business unit format;
  • Managing PC1, PC2, budget, and STRAP figures for clients under their responsibility;
  • Representing the company in a general capacity;
  • Working closely with the Project and R&D department.

Skills & Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • A good command of written and spoken English to manage key accounts with international members;
  • Strong negotiation skills and good command of sales techniques;
  • Mastery of sales cycles and ability to build complex offers;
  • A pragmatic, autonomous approach, and problem-solving skills (transforming problems into opportunities);
  • SAP and CRM experience;
  • Proficiency in the office pack, particularly Excel.

This is a day-to-day regular role offering a competitive salary, estimated to be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
