Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Hull and East Riding Community Specialist Palliative Care Team.

The successful candidate will be employed in a band 6 development role and will become a band 7 once the essential qualifications for the role are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist, high-quality care to patients with advanced, progressive illness and their families and carers.
  • Combine clinical leadership, expertise, and complex palliative and end-of-life care management to promote palliative and end-of-life care.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain advanced palliative care clinical experience, knowledge, and skills.
  • Undertake Non-medical Prescribing and other specified essential qualifications within a specific timeframe.
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working within a palliative care setting.
  • Advanced palliative care clinical experience, knowledge, and skills.
  • Commitment to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
