We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Able Care at Home. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in leading our care services and ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the smooth operation of our care services, focusing on delivering excellent client outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and engagement.
- Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care, in line with Care Inspectorate standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
- Investigate and resolve any concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain robust personal plans for each client, ensuring that their needs and risks are accurately reflected.
- Conduct regular audits and spot checks to monitor care delivery, staff competency, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure that all information is kept up to date in accordance with GDPR legislation.
- Assist the Registered Manager in supervising and appraising staff, and in leading initiatives to market the service and attract new referrals.
- Develop key relationships with the Care Inspectorate, local authority, health professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Create an open and transparent culture, enabling staff to confidently raise concerns and ensuring that there is clear evidence of lessons learned when incidents occur.
Requirements:
- Must hold a SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Excellent leadership skills, with previous experience of supervising others.
- Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care standards and Care Inspectorate requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Member of the PVG Scheme.
- Driver (desirable).
- Professional registration, such as nurse or social worker (desirable).
