Special Needs Teaching Assistant

A challenging yet rewarding opportunity has arisen for a teaching assistant to work in a primary special needs school in Aylesbury. As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons to SEN students
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups to promote learning
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and staff
  • Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEN children is essential
  • Compassionate and patient approach
  • No formal qualifications required
Salary:

£26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience
