Procurement Services Consultant Role

At Lidl - Head Office, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Services Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you'll be responsible for tendering and appointing suppliers for various procurement topics. Your expertise will be crucial in driving our business forward, and we're excited to see the impact you'll make.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with different departments to analyze and highlight their needs
Onboard new procurement categories
Demonstrate innovative thinking and proactivity in implementing new services or strategic solutions
Manage the tender process from market research to creating tender packs, completing scorecards, and presenting final recommendations
Conduct strategic sourcing initiatives, including negotiations, supplier and industry analysis, benchmarks, cost structure analysis, and process compliance
Negotiate with suppliers and draft contracts
Manage contracts and maintain supplier relationships
Prepare summaries, overviews, and project status documents for senior management
Track and control budgets

Requirements

Solid experience in a procurement role
CIPS Level 4 qualification or equivalent
Experience working with suppliers, contract management, and tendering
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Effective negotiator and confident presenter
Ability to prioritize projects and communicate effectively
Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently within tight deadlines
Strong knowledge of Excel
