Main Job Purpose:

As a key member of the IT Procurement team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of strategic programs for IT Procurement. Your primary objective will be to source and negotiate IT goods and services for the company's portfolio of IT applications, software, user, and infrastructure services & telecoms.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the delivery of strategic programs for IT Procurement.
  • Source and negotiate IT projects in line with the company's IT strategy and wider organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders and lead sourcing activities for projects.
  • Partner and manage suppliers to achieve commercial value.
  • Work within defined procurement procedures and adhere to the company's Code of Business concepts.
Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Identify and assess suppliers for assigned portfolios and site clusters.
  • Prepare and manage supplier selection processes using available tools and standardized templates.
  • Work with legal counsel to finalize commercial agreements and manage contracts for assigned spend and site clusters.
  • Maintain frequent contact with suppliers to review and resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers.
General:
  • Engage key stakeholders proactively and develop a strong stakeholder network.
  • Drive best-in-class business processes, tools, and practices, including e-auctions and catalogs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of supply agreements, commercial terms, and conditions to operational teams.
  • Source and negotiate goods or services above €10k where no contract exists and are not strategically sourced.
  • Contribute to achieving operational aims, including automation of purchase orders, preferred supplier list management, and vendor reduction.
Professional Skills:
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contracting skills.
  • Knowledge of IT markets, suppliers' market, and services cost models.
  • Excellent working knowledge and application of professional sourcing methodologies and processes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage procurement projects with minimal supervision.
  • Track record of building stakeholder relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and geographic locations.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong/fluency in English.
Experience Required:
  • Experienced (5+ years), preferably in IT procurement.
  • Experienced in managing supplier contracts.
  • Skilled in delivering to testing savings targets.
  • Ability to understand multiple areas within procurement.
  • Skilled negotiator.
  • Experienced in stakeholder and supplier management.
  • Proven in driving commercial value in a procurement function.
  • Skilled at testing business stakeholders.
