Join Our Team as a Social Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker to join our West Kent Disabled Childrens Team 2. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting disabled children and young people aged between 0 and 17 to progress towards independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Children in Need and their families through assessment, planning, and intervention
  • Working closely with colleagues in Disabled Young Peoples Social Work Teams and other key agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to promote the well-being and independence of disabled children and young people
  • Providing high-quality social work services to disabled young people, their families, and carers
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of services

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Social Work (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent)
  • Be registered with Social Work England
  • Have a variety of post-qualification experience of working with children and/or adults and their families
  • Be highly motivated and demonstrate excellent social work knowledge, skills, and values
