About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our Enhanced Support Team in Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with mental health conditions, providing high-quality care and promoting their well-being.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
1. Welcoming patients, visitors, and relatives to the clinical area, providing assistance, support, and information where required.
2. Answering the telephone, when necessary, in a polite and courteous manner, and responding appropriately within your remit.
3. Communicating effectively within the nursing team, multi-disciplinary team, and other departments to ensure that patient care is well-planned and coordinated.
4. Reporting and recording incidents, accidents, and complaints using the trust's systems (Datix).
Person Specification
We are looking for someone with:
1. Education to GCSE level grade 5 in English and Maths or equivalent.
2. A UK driving license and access to a car for work use.
3. A Care Certificate or equivalent healthcare experience.
Desirable Qualifications and Traits
We would welcome applications from individuals with:
1. A City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Care/Health and Social Care.
2. A caring personality, sensitivity, tolerance, resilience, and adaptability.
