We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in the busy school canteen. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the canteen, working closely with the kitchen team and reporting to the Cook.

Job Description:
  • Main staff member responsible for washing up in the school canteen
  • Assist with cleaning of equipment and kitchen/dining areas

The successful applicant will have excellent time management skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail. You will also have a passion for delivering high-quality service and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in food preparation, cooking, and service. We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
