Support Worker for Young Woman with Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic support worker to join our team and provide assistance to a 17-year-old girl with Autism, Hypermobility, and Sensory Needs.
Main Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the young woman in accessing community and leisure activities, promoting her independence and confidence. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with Autism and sensory needs, and be able to establish a positive and trusting relationship.
Requirements:- A positive understanding towards children/young adults with disabilities
- A genuine interest in working with children/young adults with complex needs
- A high degree of initiative
- Punctuality and reliability as this young adult cannot be left unsupervised
- Flexibility
- A happy, positive caring nature
- Respect for confidentiality
We require an Enhanced DBS check and a car driver who is insured for business use.
Salary and Benefits:The hourly rate is £13.09, with 5.6 weeks' holiday per year (pro-rata) and out-of-pocket expenses met by the employer.
