Job Title: Disability Support Specialist
Location: North East Region
Salary: £25,500 (FTE), £13.09/hr (P/T)
About the PositionWe are seeking a dedicated disability support specialist to work closely with a 17-year-old girl with Autism, Hypermobility, and Sensory Needs.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to adapt to changing situations, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality support that promotes independence and well-being.
Main Objectives- To develop and implement effective support plans that meet the young lady's unique needs
- To facilitate social connections and engagement in community activities
- To maintain a safe and supportive living environment
- A deep understanding of autism and its effects on daily life
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with complex needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and think critically
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and support
Requirements: Valid driving licence and car insurance for business use. Enhanced DBS check required, employer covers costs.
