About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Care Support Worker in the Bedlington area.

The successful candidate will be working closely with a gentleman who requires support with daily activities, personal care, and social interactions.

As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for enabling the client to access social activities outside of the home, providing respite support to his main carers, and assisting with medication administration, personal care, and household tasks.

This is a part-time role, requiring 10 hours per week, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Future opportunities may also arise for annual respite hours, requiring daytime and overnight support.

Requirements
  • Experience in supporting clients with similar needs is preferred but not essential.
  • Calm, patient, and understanding approach is crucial in this role.
  • Honest, reliable, and caring nature is essential.
  • Punctual and trustworthy individual required.

A valid, clean driving license and access to your own vehicle insured with Business use insurance would be preferable.
