We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Pension Officer to join our Employee Business Services team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate input of high-volume and complex employee/payroll data into the Electronic Staff Record System within agreed deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent telephone manner, administrative and IT skills, with knowledge of the ESR system, Agenda for Change, and NHS Pension scheme.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate input of high-volume and complex employee/payroll data.
  • Work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Explain payroll and pension information to employees and handle complex queries.

The salary for this role is £22,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
