We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health and Social Care Activity Coordinator to join our team on Beach ward at the Julian Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work with older adults who require admission and treatment for different types of dementias and other associated neurological conditions.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering activities that promote the physical and emotional well-being of our patients. You will work closely with a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, Band 4 Technical Instructor, and the rest of the nursing team to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of activities into patient care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement

Salary: £24,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 in health and social care or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a health or social care setting
  • Ability to teach practical skills to clients
