Strategic Parking Services Project Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parking Services Project Director to join our team on a 3-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension. Located in London, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a Local Authority and contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects.

**Salary:** £400.00 - £503.00 per Day

**Job Description: Parking Services Project Director**

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale change projects within local government, with a strong understanding of parking services operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects that align with the client's strategic objectives.

  • To plan, manage, and deliver a range of complex parking services projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
  • To collaborate with senior stakeholders, including Directors, Heads of Service, and departmental managers, to allocate resources and ensure effective project outcomes.
  • To provide guidance and challenge to individual project sponsors, sharing best practices and innovative ideas for post-implementation service delivery.
  • To maintain open communication channels with the client, providing regular progress updates and advice on project matters.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Project Management Professional, Agile, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering major change projects in local government parking services environments
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with various stakeholders

**Experience:**

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing complex projects, with a strong track record of success in local government
  • Familiarity with the parking services sector, including operations, regulations, and industry best practices
