About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at The Cambian Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people, develop your skills, and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.

Estimated Salary: £31, 800 per annum

Job Description

The successful candidate will work in a residential setting, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to young people in various settings. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for enabling our young people to develop physically and emotionally, creating a stable, happy, and caring environment that prioritizes their health, safety, and welfare.

You will work closely with other staff members to ensure the well-being of each young person, providing individualized care and support. Your role will also involve assisting with medical and welfare needs, monitoring conditions, and contributing to record-keeping.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing physical and emotional support to young people
  • Enabling young people to develop physically and emotionally
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment
  • Assisting with medical and welfare needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Level 3 RQF certificate in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
