About this role
We're seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Capital One (Europe) plc. As a key member of our Specialist Customer Support Team, you'll play a vital role in helping our customers navigate challenging situations related to their credit card accounts.
Using empathy and strong communication skills, you'll provide exceptional customer service, educate customers on next steps, and signpost them to additional support resources. Your ability to understand individual circumstances and agree on suitable solutions will be crucial in delivering a positive outcome for our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Engage in effective and impactful conversations with customers to understand their needs and concerns
- Assess individual circumstances and agree on suitable solutions from a range of options
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and Capital One policies to ensure compliance
- Remain customer-focused and prioritize their needs in every decision
- Support customers through challenging and sensitive situations, taking into account any vulnerabilities
- Signpost customers to additional support resources and services

Working arrangements
As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. During your training, you'll be based in our office, and once you've completed your training, you'll move onto a rotating shift pattern. You'll also have the flexibility to work from home, with regular team meetings and face-to-face interactions.
