Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Care Manager for Children to lead our new children's home in Redditch, Worcestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement and work in accordance with the Statement of Purpose within the children's home.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the home, advocating for the children and enabling them to thrive and reach the best possible outcomes.
  • Work alongside the Responsible Individual and commissioned psychologists to develop and implement the Organisation's Therapeutically Informed Training programme.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
  • NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • LEVEL 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
