Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inspirational Care Team Member to join our Residential Team at a leading private college in Worcester. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with vision impairments.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative Care team to deliver exceptional care and support to our students. You will be responsible for fostering a positive environment that promotes academic and social development, while ensuring high-quality documentation and supervision of staff.

You will work closely with Care and Education staff, other College staff, parents, and external partners to achieve a comprehensive approach to student development. Your role will involve delivering activities on and off campus, encouraging access to leisure pursuits, and supporting students to develop socially into mature and confident individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to students with vision impairments
• Foster a positive environment that promotes academic and social development
• Supervise and support staff to deliver exceptional care and support
• Work collaboratively with Care and Education staff, other College staff, parents, and external partners to achieve a comprehensive approach to student development
• Deliver activities on and off campus to promote social development and access to leisure pursuits

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You should also have experience working with children and young people with special needs, and hold relevant qualifications or certifications.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £14,300 based on 27 hours per week, worked term-time only.
