Sanctuary Personnel Ltd invites applications for a Child Protection Social Worker position in their Children in Care Team, working on a full-time basis in Bexley.

About the Role:
  • Salary: Up to £47,857 per annum.
  • Location: Bexley.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To undertake comprehensive assessments to identify levels of risk and need, and deliver targeted interventions to support children with Child Protection Plans.
  2. To facilitate effective collaboration between children, young people, their families, and other care providers to develop and implement care plans.
  3. To prepare and present court statements, as well as provide evidence in court as required.
  4. To maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic case records, ensuring alignment with relevant policies and procedures.
  5. To ensure that all case expenditures are properly authorized and recorded, with regular monitoring and review of cases with financial packages.
  6. To provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partners, promoting best practices in child safeguarding and welfare.
  7. To participate in regular supervision and performance appraisal sessions, engaging in ongoing professional development and skill-building.
  8. To contribute to team meetings and organizational events, driving continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
Requirements:
  • A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Ongoing professional development.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
