Child and Adult Safeguarding Specialist

We are recruiting a Child and Adult Safeguarding Specialist to join our Community Mental Health Team. This is a key role that requires a high level of expertise in assessment and planning for safeguarding, as well as experience in providing professional reflective supervision.
The ideal candidate will have a social work qualification or equivalent, a strong commitment to continual professional development, and registration with Social Work England. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and service users.
Key Responsibilities- To assess and plan for safeguarding where necessary.
- To provide professional reflective supervision.
- To maintain accurate case work records.
- To work within the Directorate's data protection policies.
- A social work qualification or equivalent.
