About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Child Safeguarding Expert to join our Board of Trustees. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children across our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding Oversight: Provide strategic guidance on safeguarding practices to ensure that all our programs meet the highest standards.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with our leadership team to strengthen safeguarding frameworks, ensuring compliance with the latest policies and best practices.
  • Advocacy: Champion safeguarding and child protection within our organization and beyond, advocating for the rights and interests of vulnerable children.
Requirements
  • Depth of Knowledge: You possess a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding protocols, with experience overseeing, implementing, or advising on safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Strategic Insight: You bring a strategic mindset, capable of guiding us through our current phase of growth and impact expansion.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A collaborative approach is essential for this role, as you will work closely with other Trustees, our senior leadership, practitioners, and partners to strengthen safeguarding practices and influence wider educational policies.
