Working Style:
This is a part-time role requiring 18.5 hours every two weeks, including alternate weekends. The pro rata salary for this position will be £5,836 per annum.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will possess the essential skills outlined below, with training provided to ensure both foundational competencies and ongoing professional growth.
- Facilitate the daily management of the park by ensuring all vehicle access points are operational during publicized hours and securely closed when the park is not in operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of restroom facilities, promptly reporting any necessary repairs.
- Interact with visitors to enhance their experience, addressing any concerns that may arise within the park.
- Operate basic machinery and drive park vehicles as required.
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including the use of strimmers, ride-on mowers, and related equipment.
- Ensure the security of all facilities, including restrooms, buildings, and storage areas, while making designated areas accessible as needed.
- Assist with general operational tasks as necessary.
- Uphold the park's cleanliness and aesthetic by collecting litter and emptying bins as required.
- Conduct relevant Health and Safety inspections of play areas within the park, completing all necessary documentation in accordance with procedures.
- Support park rangers in various duties as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum education of RQF Level 2 (GCSE or BTech), or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in customer service, engaging effectively with the public.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information and guidance clearly.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team to achieve local objectives.
Mobility Requirements
This role necessitates mobility across the operational area. Therefore, the candidate must possess a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle, or demonstrate the ability to meet the mobility requirements through alternative means.
