This position is based at the company's modern premises, providing training and ongoing career support.

Our client is looking for individuals who have a drive to support customers and strive for customer service excellence.

This role will be representing the company brand, and we are seeking candidates with professionalism who can align with their company values.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 days a week during office hours, with approximately 2 weekend dates a month (with a day off in the week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Aiming to resolve issues on first contact.
  • Supporting with administrative tasks, such as sending invoices and delivery notes.
  • Meeting customer service goals by hitting individual targets and objectives.
  • Handling customer queries politely and empathetically, and attempting to resolve queries on the first attempt.
  • Dealing with challenging customers and following the complaints process when necessary.
  • Building a good relationship with customers.
  • Providing excellent service to retain current customers and reduce refunds and compensation.
  • Assisting other teams with calls and tasks to maintain high service levels.
  • Collaborating with third-party suppliers to quickly resolve any issues.
  • Taking advantage of opportunities to recommend additional products or services when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer support is essential (ideally phone-based but we are open).
  • Computer literacy with the ability to learn new technology.
  • Empathetic, supportive, and patient.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Previous complaint support experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues.
