Live Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment services to the events, exhibitions, and experiential industries. Our clients are renowned for hosting large-scale events and exhibitions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join their team.

The Role

We are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of generating revenue in the corporate sector. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, building a network of contacts within the industry, and working towards revenue targets to maximize the profitability of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively build a sales pipeline and contribute to the department's sales strategy
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities in the corporate sector
  • Convert incoming enquiries for large-scale events and exhibitions
  • Provide bespoke solutions to clients to meet their needs
  • Build a network of contacts within the industry
  • Work towards revenue targets to maximize the profitability of accounts
  • Upsell on additional ancillary services for existing confirmed event bookings
  • Report on progress, account development, and sales activity
  • Develop sales reports and maintain client records

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, be confident in building strong relationships quickly, and have held a senior role within a sales environment. Experience in the events or corporate sector is highly desirable.
