Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Jones and Palmer. As a key member of our corporate communications agency, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and internal stakeholders;
- Proactively manage client needs and work with the team to resolve any account-based issues;
- Deliver exceptional client service and ensure high levels of client satisfaction;
- Strategic Account Development
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and increase revenue;
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities;
- Collaborate with the team to develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns;
- Project Team Leadership
- Lead project teams to deliver successful projects and meet client expectations;
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets;
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless project delivery;
- Commercial Responsibility
- Manage client budgets and financial processes to ensure profitable project delivery;
- Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities;
- Work closely with the Commercial Director to establish strategic account development plans;
- Relevant corporate communications/investor relations experience;
- Experience as an Account Director or similar;
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Drive to continually further knowledge;
- Annual reports and sustainability reporting experience;
- Exceptional commercial and negotiation skills;
