Main Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with systems, offering expert advice to customers.
  • Use a ticket management system to manage assigned tickets, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
  • Offer remote desktop/server support for Windows environments, adhering to agreed service level agreements.
  • Analyze server and platform monitoring alerts, applying fixes as needed.
  • Patch servers and desktops using centrally managed systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Contribute to technical projects for technology deployments and upgrades.
Your Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Substantial knowledge of networking principles, including troubleshooting protocol expertise.
  • Extensive experience in server support and virtual environments (VMware).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions.
  • Comprehension of ITIL best practices.
Salary and Benefits
  • A competitive annual salary of £37,000-£41,000.
  • Overtime and on-call pay.
