Position Overview

The Central Services team is a vital support function that provides exceptional services to key stakeholders within our Diocese, including parishes, schools, volunteers, and internal departments.

Our aim is to:

  1. Deliver high-quality customer satisfaction and engagement with stakeholders
  2. Streamline processes to reduce time and resource spent
  3. Ensure flexibility within staff to adapt to current and future organisational needs
  4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within tight expenditure limits
  5. Enable staff to achieve greater skills and training to enhance their roles

Main Responsibilities

  1. Diary Management and Coordination
  2. Providing Hospitality Services
  3. Managing Calls and Enquiries
  4. Effective Contact Management

In addition, you will be responsible for leading one or more of the following areas, which may change according to organisational need:

  1. Safeguarding APR Administration
  2. Vocations and Ministry Support
  3. Resources and Logistics
  4. Education and Training
  5. Clergy Housing and Support
  6. Carbon Net Zero Initiatives
  7. Disability Advisory Group Support

The Ideal Candidate

You'll be an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills, in sympathy with the aims and ethos of the Church of England. You will fully support and uphold the values of the Diocese of Liverpool.
