HR Officer Job Description

Reed HR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Officer to join our client's team in the North Down area. As an HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing HR support to staff and line managers, ensuring the smooth delivery of key HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Provide end-to-end absence management support, manage probation and performance management processes, and offer advice and guidance on employment investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees, ensuring compliance with Equal Opportunities and Recruitment and Selection policies.
  • Payroll: Support the delivery of payroll services, provide end-to-end support to staff and managers on payroll queries, and assist with payroll administration.
  • HR Administration: Provide general day-to-day administrative duties, maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data, and support HR correspondence.
Requirements:
  • Degree-educated in HR or hold a CIPD level 5 qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years generalist HR experience.
  • Employee relations case management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office package.
Desirable Skills and Qualities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to work accurately and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to meet the objectives of the job.
