Job Title: Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial team at Play Sports Network. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities by working with the wider commercial and business development teams to identify and pursue new partnerships and branded content opportunities.
  • Deliver commercial contracts by taking responsibility for implementing the specifics of the commercial contractual terms, in collaboration with our Legal department.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our commercial clients, acting as their business partner and providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their retention.
  • Understand the client's business, including their goals, challenges, and opportunities, and use this knowledge to solve their problems and projects.
  • Deliver excellent service and reporting by using Company tools to provide timely and accurate analysis of content featuring our brand partners.
  • Collaborate with the wider PSN team to ensure that all inputs are clear, complete, correct, and timely, and that key areas of the business are kept up to date.
  • Product delivery and placement by ensuring that when content teams need the relevant products, they are supplied, and that our brand partners are informed and educated on new products.
  • Systems by utilizing the PSN internal systems to efficiently run brand accounts, keep stakeholders up to date, and deliver great work for our brands.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Sales or Account Manager.
  • Experience of generating and managing commercial deals and contracts in the sports or media industry.
  • Exposure to influencing commercial partners and team members.
  • Passion for delivering success and a passion for cycling.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and prospective clients.
  • Able to be based from our Bath office and travel to see clients as required.
