Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial Team at Play Sports Network. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop New Business Opportunities: Work closely with our Commercial and Business Development Teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities for partnerships and branded content.
  • Deliver Commercial Contracts: Take ownership of delivering and implementing commercial contractual terms, working closely with our Legal Department.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our commercial clients, understanding their business needs and goals.
  • Understand Client Business: Gain a deep understanding of our clients' businesses, including their goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Deliver Excellent Service and Reporting: Utilize our Company tools to provide high-quality reporting and analysis of content featuring our brand partners.
  • Collaborate with the Wider PSN Team: Build strong relationships with our Content Teams to ensure they understand the value of working with our partners and our contractual obligations.
  • Product Delivery and Placement: Ensure that our Content Teams have access to the necessary products and that our brand partners are informed and educated on new products.
  • Systems and Processes: Utilize our internal systems to efficiently manage brand accounts, keep stakeholders informed, and deliver high-quality work for our brands.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in Sales or Account Management.
  • Experience in generating and managing commercial deals and contracts in the sports or media industry.
  • Exposure to influencing commercial partners and team members.
  • Passion for delivering success and a passion for cycling.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and prospective clients.
  • Able to work from our Bath office and travel to see clients as required.
