Community Physician Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Virtual Ward team as a Community Physician Specialist, providing high-quality patient care and clinical leadership in the community setting.
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and skilled physician to work closely with our multidisciplinary team, developing and delivering innovative virtual ward services across Morecambe Bay. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing undifferentiated acute medical illness in community or acute settings as a senior, independent clinician.
Main Responsibilities- Providing senior clinical oversight and decision-making for virtual ward patients
- Leading daily MDT discussions to ensure seamless care coordination
- Developing and implementing effective care plans to optimize patient outcomes
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- MRCGP, MRCP, or equivalent qualifications
- GMC Registration
- CCT in General Practice, General Medicine, or relevant specialty
Additionally, we require experience in supervision of junior medical colleagues and/or Advanced Clinical Practitioners, as well as effective experience in a leadership role. A CCT in General Practice, General Medicine, or a relevant specialty is essential for this position.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to be around £85,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.
