Literacy Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Literacy Support Specialist to join our team at Ark Victoria Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
The successful candidate will have a passion for improving literacy skills and a commitment to supporting pupils with lower reading ages. The role involves delivering tailored interventions using Fresh Start Phonics, Lexia, and Lexonic, as well as providing reading support to students with identified gaps.
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality literacy interventions to individual pupils using evidence-based programs.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify areas of need and develop targeted support plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Support assessment and monitoring of our reading intervention provision.
- Update pupil records as required.
- Share information about individual pupils with teachers and colleagues.
