Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Key Account Manager to join our team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our extended Sales leadership team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining partner relationships, driving business growth, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Full accountability for end-to-end account management of one of our largest strategic accounts in the UK.
  • People Leadership: Direct people leadership and development of a Channel Key Account Executive, as well as first-point-of-call leadership of the channel team.
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships across a wide variety of internal and external partner functions.
  • Business Development: Utilize relationships to implement specific retailer plans and support company initiatives.
  • Investment Management: Lead external discussion of investments via annual joint business plans as well as day-to-day collaboration to ensure strong return on investments.
  • Personal Development: Own your individual development targeting priority competencies while keeping up with emerging trends.

Requirements

  • Commercial Experience: In-depth strong commercial experience in sales or a related commercial function.
  • Results Delivery: A consistent track record of outstanding business results and high accountability.
  • Communication Skills: An ability to communicate clearly to convince backed up by relevant data, a strong analytical approach is critical in this role.
  • Strategic Thinking: A balance of short-term results focus and long-term strategic work.
  • Relationship Building: Effective relationship building skills with a collaborative approach to partners.
  • Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple partners.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven success as a leader prioritizing development of others to empower teamwork that drives success.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
  • Work Arrangements: An ability to work 3 days from our office in Slough (2 days from home).
