We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Care Support Specialist to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic mental health setting, providing essential support and care to individuals in need. As a Mental Health Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, assisting with daily activities, and promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight
  • Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse
  • Ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and resources to promote their well-being
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a mental health hospital environment within the last 3 years
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Qualifications: Care Certificate or equivalent qualification
