About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. This is a development role that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality psychological services in the Psychosis and Bipolar Disorder Pathway.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist individual interventions, clinical supervision, and training to other healthcare staff. They will also participate in regular clinical supervision, national and regional professional meetings, and seminars as appropriate. Additionally, they will meet and maintain targets within the Psychosis and Bipolar Disorder Pathway, undertaking assessments, formulation, interventions, group, individual, and indirect work with clients, staff teams, and families/carers.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, applicants must have a BSc/BA Honours degree in psychology, a postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They should also possess highly developed communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex and sensitive information. Experience working as a qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist within the relevant area is essential, as is the ability to meet travel requirements.
