About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to support the emotional, social, and behavioural development of students in our schools. The successful candidate will work closely with students to provide 1:1 and small group support, developing and implementing behaviour management strategies to help them overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create support plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to staff and parents.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Help students develop coping strategies, social skills, and emotional resilience.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote the school's values and ethos.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
